Touchwood Lake is located about 45
minutes from Lac La Biche Alberta and offers up excellent camping,
lots of wildlife, a gorgeous lake, and on the right day,
incredible fishing.
What's It Gonna
Be
Fishing Alberta host Alex Kreis (L)
discusses a plan of attack with Fishing Alberta Producer Scott
Rawlings (R). The boys decided to leave the Walleye for another
day and to cruise the shoreline looking for big pike.
Picture Perfect
Pike
Alex poses with a
beauty Northern taken on a suspending crank bait in about 22 feet
of water. Trolling speed was almost 3 MPH and this big guy had no
problem whacking the bait.
2 For 1 Day
Here’s a couple of nice average
northerns that were caught and released on Touchwood Lake. The
boys had great luck casting a Williams 50 series half and half,
and a Williams Bully in the orange and gold pattern
Nice Smile (The
Pike I Mean)
Scott gets bragging
rights with this 9 pounder caught mid-day in 16 feet of water on
his trusty Williams 50 series Half & Half.
The Williams Half
and Half
Welcome to The
Party Big Guy!
Scott hauls in another
respectable Northern on Touchwood Lake. This is a few pounds
bigger than the average fish the boys were catching and a nice
addition to the show.
Wussssss Uuuppp!
This little white tail
deer couldn’t resist stopping by the shore to see what the
Fishing Alberta crew was up to.
Just Ducky
Here’s a little water
fowl with a whole bay to himself. Looks kind of lonely doesn’t
he?
