Take Bow Bottom trail south past Canyon Meadows drive to the end of the Deer Run community (this is the road that goes to Sicome Lake). After reaching the end of the housing you will be entering an undeveloped area that is the edge of Fish Creek Park.  After passing all the houses take the first left and follow the road into Fish Creek Park.  Keep on the road until you come to the Bankside day-use area.  You will be able to park here and be very close to the river.
