FUNFISH 2004

This FREE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS EVENT provides youths that might otherwise not be able to experience ice fishing the chance to enjoy and compete in a well organized and safe environment. We provide all things necessary for the youths to catch fish: fishing lines, hooks, bait, holes, experienced fishermen. We also provide a lunch of hot-dogs and buns.

Pre registration allows us to provide a rewarding experience for all participants. It also qualifies those pre registered for some special prizes.

| Funfish provides this televised experience (Fishing Alberta TV will feature the event on one of their episodes) through funding from corporate sponsors. Sponsors providing donations of $250 or more are added to our web site and also receive recognition on the credits of the program. All funds raised are used for the event. All organization and assistance is through volunteer efforts. If the event should cancel the sponsorship funds are held over to the following years event. |

The event is a go unless the lake is closed March 31, 2004 or if the predicted temperature as of the Wednesday preceding the event, by environment Canada, is below zero Celsius.
It is our goal to have two hundred youths plus their parent(s) / Guardian(s) participating. We would appreciate any help you can give us in reaching your audience youths and in raising more sponsors. |
